People spend nearly 20% of their day searching for information in one form or the other. This includes searches on platforms like Google, scrolling through news websites, booking travel, culinary options, or even finding the perfect gift for someone.

With each new platform or app comes another account, a different set of rules, a new interface to navigate, and processes to learn - a reality that is not just inefficient, but also frustrating and fragmented.

That's a significant amount of time and energy spent on tasks that could be simplified and streamlined.

Imagine hearing about a new app akin to Uber, understanding it within seconds, setting up an account, payment, and everything required in just one click. Picture booking a ride not through an app, but through a simple text to OSO, "Get me an Uber in 5 minutes from home to work".

Historically, technology has gotten better.

The foundation of the internet is information retrieval. It's an information and communication platform where people can share knowledge and insights. Throughout history, major advancements in technology have made information retrieval faster and easier.

Starting with the web browser, information was no longer confined to the stacks of books housed in libraries - it was brought right into our homes, just a click away. Then, with the rise of mobile applications, computers transformed from stationary objects into pocket-sized powerhouses, providing access to the world's information while on the move.

Despite this added convenience, is the internet truly efficient, with its overload of apps, accounts, and continuously changing user flows? It seems that everyone went out to solve a problem and created an app for it, but no one focused on the underlying problem, the user experience of the internet is in desperate need of an upgrade.

We think there's room for a major overhaul and the time is now! We envision an internet where finding information is 100 times faster, where there's no need to learn new apps every time you want to do something new.

So we set off on a mission - to create a better way to use the internet.

OSO is a revolution in the making, a radical transformation of the user experience, powered by AI. We are building on the legacy of the first web browser, mobile apps, and the vast web3 back-end infrastructure, to create a new era we like to call web4 or the user experience revolution.

OSO Search

Since the internet is one giant information system, and people waste too much of their time retrieving and searching for that information, we began working on OSO Search - an AI Search Engine that transforms how you search for information online.

Instead of clicking between websites to find the information you need, OSO Search reads through trillions of websites for you and extracts the relevant information. This makes searching for things a breeze such as professional research, movie reviews, culinary options, tutorials, guides, shopping, news, official documents, policy updates - you name it.

A current limitation of OSO Search is its one-way interaction - it doesn't offer a chat feature like an AI assistant. Its core function is dedicated to undertaking the search on your behalf, saving you time, so you can focus on more important tasks.

Early access to OSO Search was granted to a group of 1,000 users and received overwhelmingly positive feedback. The standout features they admired were the considerable time savings and the unfiltered, unbiased results, derived from pulling information from the entire internet, not just a single search engine.

OSO Chat

Building on the success of OSO Search, we began developing our own large language model to take the search experience to a new level. Along the way, our fierce belief in unrestricted access to knowledge prompted us to create OSO Chat, an Uncensored AI Chat where you can talk about nearly any topic without the restrictions found in other chatbots.

OSO Chat isn't just uncensored, but it is also continuously learning, so while it still has knowledge cut-off dates based on training data, it learns over time from new questions being asked across OSO.

Over time, we plan to introduce several LLM options into the OSO ecosystem. Most notable, OSO Savant, a specialized framework within OSO Chat that focuses on specific functions. Instead of having broad language models for all tasks, OSO Savant gives users access to highly specialized AI agents designed for specific niches, such as, research assistant, financial expert, sports guru, travel planner, and so forth. This unique feature enables users to obtain more precise and focused responses tailored to meet specific requirements. With OSO Savant, you can easily switch between these specialized AI agents, ensuring that you can access the information you need with the assistance of experts in their respective fields.

OSO News

The successful development of these technologies set the stage for the merge of OSO Search and OSO Chat. This fusion brings the benefits of Search - providing up-to-the-minute, concise, and clear information, and Chat - enabling unrestricted back-and-forth discussions, into the OSO ecosystem to open a new era of possibilities.

Following the integration of OSO Search and OSO Chat, we conceived OSO News, an interactive AI-powered platform that transforms how you experience the news - much like chatting with your own personal news correspondent who is updated on the newest happenings from every corner of the globe.

OSO News harnesses the power of OSO Search technology to find the latest information, feeds it into our own LLM to process and train it, and then OSO Chat technology takes over so users can converse directly with the news to ask specific questions. For example, if you are curious about the maui fires, you can ask for a summary, latest updates, or a specific question such as 'how many houses burnt down?'.

No more reading through articles to find one little piece of information, just ask OSO for anything you care about on the latest news and developments around the world.

Let's get ready to Launch!

Rather than releasing each feature sequentially, we developed all features together, given their synergistic nature. This allowed us to harmoniously integrate our OSO Search Technology into future plans, thereby preemptively addressing any major updates that might be needed prior to the official launch.

What the Future Holds - OSO OS

Once OSO launches with OSO Search, OSO Chat, and OSO News, our foundational technology will be in place. This sets the stage for our grander vision of creating a better way to use the internet.

We plan to revolutionize how people use the internet with OSO OS, our own AI powered operating system that lets you interact with any program, website, or device connected to the internet via text or voice message.

This will open up the OSO platform to other companies to develop and integrate their products and services directly with OSO. This will not only enrich the user experience but also allow these businesses to benefit from OSO's advanced AI technology.
